Even though the Steam Summer Sale has ended, players can still get some great offers by claiming four free games on Steam for a limited period.
These four games – Fantasy General II, Field of Glory II: Medieval, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, and Caribbean Crashers – are available to permanently add to your Steam library if you claim them before July 17.
Except for Caribbean Crashers, all these games are published by Slitherine. This publisher is known for strategy titles and is currently running a 25th anniversary sale on Steam.
The three Slitherine games offered for free have garnered `Very Positive` user reviews, with Battlestar Galactica Deadlock appearing to be the most highly regarded and popular among them.
In Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, developed by Black Lab Games, players command the Colonial Fleet during the First Cylon War, engaging in strategic turn-based 3D space combat to achieve victory.
Black Lab Games also developed Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, which is currently available on sale with a 70% discount.
If you`re not a fan of Battlestar Galactica, Slitherine offers other licensed strategy games on sale, such as Starship Troopers: Terran Command and Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance.
Caribbean Crashers is the only title not published by Slitherine among the free games, but its giveaway coincides with the same period. It`s one of only two games on Steam by developer Bloxhill and usually costs $2.
Furthermore, Amazon Prime members can claim seven free games in July, plus four extra free titles for Prime Day.
