The recent Fortnitemares event in Fortnite features a mix of horror legends such as Jason, Ghostface, and the Scooby Gang, alongside musical artist Doja Cat. The inclusion of Doja Cat, the only real-life personality among them, sparked considerable online discussion, specifically concerning the official Fortnite X account she was reportedly managing.
Doja Cat was slated to temporarily manage the Fortnite X account last Wednesday, just prior to the Fortnitemares announcement. However, a controversial post about “rose toys”—widely interpreted as a euphemism for sex toys—appeared on the account, prompting the artist to distance herself from it. She clarified through her personal X account that she was not responsible for the post.
In her response, she stated, “I told them not to, man. That’s not even me,” adding, “I said this yesterday and then said `don’t post that` :/”
Although the post was swiftly removed, it had already spread across the internet, illustrating the enduring nature of online content.
