Fantastic Four Cast Dives Into Marvel Rivals as Their Own Characters

This week marks the cinematic return of Marvel`s First Family, the Fantastic Four, in `First Steps` after a decade-long hiatus. Although the Fantastic Four currently lack a dedicated video game, they are a prominent part of `Marvel Rivals.` A recent video features the film`s cast engaging in gameplay as their respective characters.

YouTube host Loserfruit organized this session while the cast was in Australia promoting `First Steps.` It was evident that none of the Fantastic Four cast members were seasoned gamers; Pedro Pascal, for instance, mentioned his gaming experience didn`t extend beyond the original Nintendo console. Nevertheless, each actor took their turn, with Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing as the Thing, followed by Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, and Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch.

The cast reacted quite humorously to several alternative Fantastic Four costumes, including the team`s wedding attire. They were particularly surprised by Invisible Woman`s Malice skin, which Kirby light-heartedly suggested might appear in the `First Steps` sequel. If these designs were surprising to them, their reactions to the original Malice costume from the 1980s would be even more fascinating to capture.

At one point, Vanessa Kirby mistook her Invisible Woman character for being naked while invisible, which was merely a visual representation of the character`s power. The entire cast appeared to genuinely enjoy the experience, enthusiastically engaging with their characters` abilities, though they are clearly not yet prepared for competitive `Marvel Rivals` matches.

Recently, Phoenix was introduced to `Marvel Rivals,` with Blade set to follow soon. The Fantastic Four themselves were integrated into the game earlier this year. NetEase has also hinted at potential future additions tied to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Nevertheless, the developers clarified that the game`s core storyline will always take precedence over any MCU-related content.
