Despite the Funko Fusion game not becoming a major hit after its release last year, it continues to delight fans with interesting Funko collectible figures. Following the previously released figures based on “Battlestar Galactica,” “Shaun of the Dead,” and “The Thing,” Mega Man will soon join the lineup. The Funko Fusion Mega Man figure is now available for pre-order at $15 and will be released on December 27. A standard version, featuring the hero`s classic blue design, will be available, alongside a rare “Chase” variant that gives the character a zombified appearance. In addition to the Blue Bomber, Funko also announced Funko Fusion figures based on Colonel Sanders, Invincible, and Five Nights at Freddy`s.
This new Funko Fusion vinyl figure of Mega Man depicts Capcom`s retro icon in his classic blue armor and helmet, with a blue energy blast firing from his arm cannon. Like all Funko Pops, this figure does not have articulated joints, but it will make a great addition to your game room or home office. If you`re lucky, you might find the “Chase” variant of the Mega Man Funko Fusion figure, which “zombifies” the character, turning his eyes white, his skin pale, and adding green flecks across his armor. As with all “Chase” variants, there`s approximately a 1 in 6 chance of finding it.

The vinyl figure is being released alongside the Funko Fusion: Deluxe Edition video game, which adds several new, exclusive characters to the game. Our review of Funko Fusion scored the game 4 out of 10, however, fans of quirky cooperative games with constant references to pop culture icons will likely find something to enjoy in this adventure. The main reason to purchase this new $40 Deluxe Edition is for all the new playable characters from popular movies and TV shows. Here`s a look at the new characters in the Deluxe Edition:
- Wicked: The Wizard, Madame Morrible, Elphaba, Glinda, Prince Fiyero, and Shiz variants of Elphaba and Glinda.
- Universal Monsters: Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Wolf Man.
- The Office: Michael, Dwight, Jim, Pam.
The standard edition of Funko Fusion is also available for $20 on PS5, PS4, Switch, and Xbox Series X. While the base version lacks the additional content and characters from the new Deluxe Edition, it does include Mega Man in its playable roster.

As mentioned, Mega Man is just one of several new Funko Fusion figures launching in December. You can pre-order new vinyl collectibles based on KFC mascot Colonel Sanders (wielding a chicken-launching cannon, no less!), which also comes in an all-gold “Chase” variant. He releases on December 9, alongside a new Invincible figure that features a blood-spattered “Chase” variant. Following these, a new Funko Fusion Freddy Fazbear figure, armed with a pizza launcher, drops on December 27 with a zombified “Chase” variant. Pre-orders for all these new figures are available for $15 each.
