Udon Entertainment is set to release the third official art book for Elden Ring on November 4. This new volume is entirely dedicated to the highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Given the substantial amount of new content introduced by the expansion—including vast open-world areas, intricate dungeons, and numerous bosses—it is fitting that it receives its own comprehensive art book.
This upcoming 320-page hardcover art book is appropriately sized to cover the wealth of additions from “Shadow of the Erdtree.” It will feature hundreds of concept art pieces and illustrations showcasing the expansion`s new locations within the Realm of Shadow, as well as the diverse array of bosses, creatures, characters, weapons, and armor sets encountered there. Complementing the artwork, the book will also include newly translated developer commentary and detailed lore.

Elden Ring Official Strategy Guides
Beyond the art books, new Elden Ring guide material is also on the horizon. The official companion guide for the recently released Elden Ring spin-off, Elden Ring Nightreign, is scheduled for release on September 30. This 400-page hardcover strategy guide will provide maps, a bestiary, an item catalog, and explanations to help players master the challenging run-based gameplay of the multiplayer co-op spin-off. It will also compile dialogue, lore entries, artwork, and more.
This Nightreign guide follows the acclaimed three-volume Elden Ring: Books of Knowledge strategy guide series. Similar to the Nightreign guide, these volumes offer hundreds of pages of gameplay tips, lore, and artwork. Volume 1, spanning 512 pages, focuses on various locations. Volume 2, at 528 pages, delves into the combat system, enemies, spells, and equipment sets. Volume 3, a 416-page guide, is dedicated to the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree Manga
Another upcoming Elden Ring reading material is the next volume of the official manga series, “The Road to the Erdtree,” launching on October 28. While “Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree” visually captures the aesthetic of Elden Ring and features many familiar locations, monsters, and characters from the game, it adopts a vastly different tone. Unlike the grim and serious narrative of The Lands Between, this manga presents a comedic adventure. Despite this shift, it has been well-received by fans for its strong writing, offering a fresh way to experience the Elden Ring universe.
