Cyberpunk Action Game Replaced Gets Spring 2026 Release Date

The highly anticipated cyberpunk action game Replaced, first unveiled at E3 2021, has finally received a firm release window. Known for its striking visuals, cinematic flair, and action-oriented combat mechanics, Replaced is now set to launch in Spring 2026 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Developer Sad Cat Studios confirmed the Spring 2026 release through a new trailer that showcases the significant progress made over the years. The video highlights notable improvements in environmental detail, character animations, and overall game polish, demonstrating the studio`s dedication during its prolonged development cycle.

Game director Yura Zhdanovich addressed the lengthy wait in a Steam post, assuring fans that Replaced is nearing the end of its production phase. While a precise launch date remains under wraps, the team expects to reveal more details later this year, likely coinciding with the release of the final game trailer.

The development journey for Replaced has been particularly challenging due to unforeseen external circumstances. Originally based in Belarus, Sad Cat Studios experienced significant disruptions following Russia`s invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The studio, which opposed the war and Belarus`s involvement, made the difficult decision to relocate its entire operation to Cyprus in 2022 to ensure the safety of its team.

Replaced will be launching on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Although its retail price has not yet been disclosed, it will be a day-one addition to the Xbox Game Pass library, offering immediate access to subscribers.
