Conan O’Brien’s “Clueless Gamer” Returns with Borderlands 4 for Charity

Conan O`Brien`s highly popular “Clueless Gamer” segment has made a triumphant comeback, this time featuring the eagerly awaited game Borderlands 4. This special return isn`t just for entertainment; it`s also dedicated to supporting a commendable charitable cause.

In this much-anticipated episode, O`Brien joins forces with Brian Long and Liz Day. These two individuals secured their spot by being the top donors in a CharityBuzz auction, with all proceeds benefiting the “Next for Autism” charity. As expected, O`Brien delivers his signature comedic performance, playfully mocking the game`s eccentricities and his own often-struggling gameplay. He notably targets the character Claptrap for its perceived annoyance and humorously questions the necessity of a deep storyline in such an absurd, action-packed title.

“Next for Autism” is a non-profit organization committed to developing and launching programs that provide vital support to individuals on the autism spectrum. Long and Day`s generous contributions not only won them the auction but also the unique experience of gaming alongside Conan O`Brien.

The “Clueless Gamer” series, renowned for accumulating millions of views across its numerous installments, had been off the air for a period. Its last episode before this Borderlands 4 feature aired in 2024, showcasing the director`s cut of Death Stranding.

Past episodes have created memorable moments, such as when actors Seth Rogen and Zach Efron famously drew on O`Brien`s face during a game of Mario Kart 8. The segment`s significant popularity even prompted TBS to explore the possibility of a dedicated “Clueless Gamer” spin-off television series, although this project ultimately did not come to fruition.
