CoD: Black Ops 7 Dev Announces Fan-Requested Improvements Coming To MP Beta

Treyarch has announced impending updates for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 early access beta, which began its run yesterday. These forthcoming changes, expected later this weekend, will specifically target the notably slow progression rates for weapon experience points (XP) and overclock upgrades.

Following extensive player feedback, Treyarch confirmed their commitment to addressing community concerns. Players have reported that character and weapon progression in the beta is unusually sluggish, demanding significant gameplay hours to unlock crucial weapon attachments and the new overclock abilities. The upcoming patch is anticipated to significantly accelerate this leveling process, making gameplay feel more rewarding.

Another key focus of the planned update is the functionality of automatic doors within multiplayer maps. Black Ops 7 introduced automatic doors, replacing the manual ones seen in previous Call of Duty titles. These doors currently activate either by player proximity or gunfire. While specific modifications are yet to be detailed, improvements might involve adjusting sensor sensitivity or refining the speed at which they open, aiming for a smoother player experience.

Furthermore, the developers have indicated that the update will incorporate tweaks to the game`s time-to-kill (TTK), rectify various weapon-related bugs, and enhance overall stability. Recent patch notes for Black Ops 7 also outlined a new Zombies training course and highlighted several known issues currently present within the beta environment.

Separately, it has been noted that cheaters have already infiltrated the Black Ops 7 beta. Activision, however, is actively engaged in efforts to detect and remove these illicit players, striving to maintain fair play for everyone.
