Black Ops 7 Teams Up with Monster Energy for In-Game Rewards

True to Call of Duty tradition, the forthcoming Black Ops 7 will feature a promotional collaboration with Monster Energy Drink. Although the game`s release is still some time away, distinctive Black Ops 7-branded Monster cans are already becoming available in retail outlets.

According to reports from CharlieIntel, these Black Ops 7 Monster cans are currently being sold in convenience stores nationwide across the U.S. Beyond their Call of Duty-inspired design, the cans include QR codes, presumably leading consumers to a website where they can redeem unique codes found on the cans.

Currently, scanning the QR code redirects to an older Black Ops 6 promotional page, indicating that these new cans might have been released earlier than planned. It`s highly probable that purchasing these cans will grant players Double XP bonuses for the upcoming game.

Black Ops 7 is scheduled for release later this year, making it the first time a Call of Duty sub-series has seen consecutive annual releases. The game is being co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and features a voice cast including Milo Ventimiglia (known for “This is Us,” “Gilmore Girls”) as David Mason, Kiernan Shipka (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) as Emma Kagan, and Michael Rooker (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) as Mike Harper.

Apart from these disclosed facts and a brief teaser trailer revealed by Microsoft at Summer Game Fest, specific details about the game remain scarce. However, a comprehensive unveiling of Black Ops 7 is set for Gamescom in mid-August. There`s also speculation about a major Call of Duty event in September, though this has not been officially confirmed by Microsoft.
