The “Rendezook,” a legendary maneuver deeply ingrained in Battlefield`s history since Battlefield 3, has become so iconic that DICE even featured it in the Battlefield 2042 announcement trailer. This challenging stunt is not only making a comeback in Battlefield 6, but players can now earn an exclusive in-game reward for successfully pulling it off.
According to reports, a unique Rendezook dog tag cosmetic is now granted to players who achieve this incredible feat: ejecting from their jet, using a perfectly aimed bazooka shot to destroy an enemy jet, and then safely re-entering their own aircraft. While such a stunt would be impossible in real life, it was first discovered and popularized in Battlefield 3 by a player known as Stun_Gravy, who famously shared video evidence of its possibility.
The term “Rendezook” itself is a clever combination of “rendezvous” and “bazooka.” Its widespread popularity in the gaming community is so significant that it has even earned an entry in the Urban Dictionary.
Battlefield 6 officially launched today for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Analyst Rhys Elliott of Aliena Analytics noted the game has already generated over $100 million in pre-orders from Steam alone. To ensure a smoother launch experience, Battlefield 6 received a day-one update patch addressing more than 200 bugs.
In a prominent review, the game was awarded an 8/10 score, being praised as “a return to form for a multiplayer shooter that thrives on emergent chaos.”
