Battlefield 6 Beta Now Available for Preload, File Sizes Revealed

The highly anticipated Battlefield 6 open beta is set to commence on August 7. Players can now preload the game client across all platforms, ensuring they can jump into the action immediately once the servers go live. The preloading process is straightforward, and no special access code is required to download the beta client.

How to Preload the Battlefield 6 Open Beta and Its File Size

To begin preloading the Battlefield 6 open beta, simply access your preferred platform`s store. The file size for the beta client varies slightly depending on the platform. For instance, the Steam version requires approximately 39.24 GB of storage, while the Xbox Series X version is listed at around 37.56 GB.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Trailer

Alongside the announcement of pre-loading availability, Battlefield Studios has released an open beta trailer. This trailer provides a glimpse into some of the content that will be available in the beta, including a selection of maps and game modes from the full version of the game.

As previously announced, early access to the Battlefield 6 open beta will be available from August 7-8 for those who received a code by watching a Twitch streamer. Additionally, EA is providing codes to individuals who registered for Battlefield Labs before July 31, as well as to EA Play Pro members.

The beta will then open to all players over two subsequent weekends: first from August 9-10, and then continuing from August 14-17.

Battlefield 6 is scheduled for a full launch on October 10, becoming available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This marks the series` first new installment since the poorly received Battlefield 2042 in 2021.
