With the Battlefield 6 open beta rapidly approaching, players eager to dive into the game`s massive battles might want to get some practice in before jumping into competitive PvP matches. Fortunately for more cautious players, both the full game and the upcoming beta test will offer a contingency plan: “Initiation” modes specifically designed for player training.
According to the official Battlefield website, Initiation matches will feature bots on both sides of the battle, allowing players to familiarize themselves with the maps, tactics, and weaponry available in Battlefield 6. The open beta will include “Breakthrough Initiation” to help new players learn the objective-based format, while the full game will also offer “Conquest Initiation” for mastering the territory capture style of play.
The Battlefield 6 open beta test is scheduled to run over two weekends: August 9-10 and August 14-17. The first weekend, which includes an early access period for those with codes, will provide three maps and five game modes, including Breakthrough in both standard and Initiation variants. The second weekend will introduce a fourth map and several new modes, such as Squad Deathmatch and Rush.
