Skybound and QuarterUp have officially announced that the fearsome warrior Battle Beast will join the growing roster of Invincible Vs., the highly anticipated 3v3 tag-team fighting game. This exciting reveal was made by Invincible creator Robert Kirkman during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, following the earlier confirmation of Rex Splode`s inclusion.
Battle Beast, renowned throughout the Invincible universe for his relentless quest for a glorious death in combat, showcases his brutal fighting style in his recently unveiled trailer. The footage highlights his devastating club attacks, demonstrating a power so immense it can graphically dismember opponents, as seen with Bulletproof.
The addition of Battle Beast brings the total number of confirmed playable characters in Invincible Vs. to six. He joins an already impressive lineup that includes Invincible, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Rex Splode, and the Viltrumite Thula. While other Viltrumite characters like Lucen and Omni-Man were featured in the game`s initial reveal trailer back in June, their status as officially playable characters has yet to be confirmed.
Invincible Vs. was first introduced to the public during the Xbox Showcase in early June. At the same event, Skybound revealed the formation of its new development studio, QuarterUp. This studio is staffed by a team of industry veterans with experience from prominent companies such as Activision, Riot Games, and Xbox. QuarterUp was co-founded by Mike Willette, who is notably recognized for his work as both a developer and the iconic announcer for the 2013 reboot of Killer Instinct for Xbox.
Players can look forward to experiencing the intense battles of Invincible Vs. when it officially launches in 2026. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
