The Apple WWDC 2026 is set to take place once again this year, with the Cupertino-based company officially announcing the dates. As usual, the event will be held in June, and the keynote will primarily focus on the latest software updates for Apple products and the main innovations expected. Here are all the details.
WWDC 2026 Dates and How to Follow the Event
As previously announced, WWDC 2026 will take place in June, specifically from the 8th to the 12th. The main keynote is scheduled for Monday, June 8th, at 7:00 PM Italian time (1:00 PM EDT / 10:00 AM PDT). The event can be followed via Apple’s official social channels.
During the conference, Apple will unveil the latest features for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, alongside updates for watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27. We can also anticipate new potential functionalities for AirPods and HomePod. Furthermore, the company has hinted at ‘incredible updates for Apple platforms, including significant advancements in AI and exciting new software and developer tools.’ Could this finally be the moment for the highly anticipated debut of the new Siri?
Apple Focuses on Developers and Students
Beyond the online sessions, Apple will host an exclusive in-person event for a selected group of developers and students. These invited guests will have the opportunity to visit the Apple Park campus on the opening day. Members of the Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program are eligible to apply for this attendance.
The company has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the next generation, stating, ‘Apple is proud to support students through the Swift Student Challenge, one of many programs designed to foster the next generation of entrepreneurs, developers, and designers.’
As a reminder, last year’s WWDC introduced Apple Intelligence features, including live translations and creative tools like Image Playground and Genmoji. However, the launch of the new Siri encountered significant delays.
