Aggro Crab Unveils Crashout Crew: A New Chaotic Co-Op Experience

The innovative developers at Aggro Crab are poised to launch another high-energy, physics-driven cooperative game. Following their significant success with Peak, a title co-developed with Landfall that captured the gaming community`s attention, the studio has now offered an exciting initial glimpse of their forthcoming project. This new four-player co-op game, christened Crashout Crew, promises uproarious fun with its forklift-centric gameplay. Enthusiasts can get a taste of the action through a demo available during the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

The recently released announcement trailer provides a vibrant showcase of four players intensely focused on fulfilling warehouse orders. They commandeer unusually swift forklifts, capable of dramatic drifts and boosts, predictably leading to hilariously chaotic scenes as vehicles frequently spin out, collide, and bounce across the environment.

In a detailed Steam Community announcement, Aggro Crab describes the game`s warehouse environment as transforming into a `full-blown raceway.` Here, players are tasked with completing diverse contracts that involve shipping peculiar and unique cargo. The trailer offers compelling examples of the challenges ahead, such as fragile eggs that will shatter upon being run over, and crates teeming with bees that will unleash a buzzing swarm if mishandled.

The demo for Steam Next Fest, which will be accessible from October 13th to 20th, is set to feature three distinct contracts. Players will have the option to modify these contracts with `safety violations,` deliberately adding layers of difficulty and further escalating the chaos. Crashout Crew is currently targeting a broad release window sometime in 2026.

Aggro Crab commenced development on both Crashout Crew and Peak after making the decision to cancel a planned sequel to their popular dungeon-crawler roguelike, Going Under. While a segment of the Aggro Crab team collaborated with Landfall on the development of Peak, the remainder of the studio intensely focused their efforts on Crashout Crew, a concept that originally emerged from a dynamic game jam session.

Fans of Peak can rest assured, as Aggro Crab has pledged continued support and ongoing updates for the climbing co-op game. Recent enhancements include several significant bug fixes, the welcome introduction of a colorblindness mode, and a more recent update that even added engaging activities to the game`s airport lobby environment.
