We Remember 9/11 On Patriot Day 2012. Never Forget – September 11th 2012 Photos of the Day Alongside Quotes From Politicians and Celebrities With Artwork and Wallpaper

Beautiful 911 Two Tower Lights Wallpaper

The Twin Towers lighting up the night sky as we remember the victims of 9/11 and pray for America.

Today is 9/11/12. Never forget September 11th – WE REMEMBER. Tyranny, terrorism, Muslims willing to die to kill others. This is a reality and the world we live in today.

Together we must stand united and fight extremism wherever it stands. Fight for freedom, justice and Christian moral values. Honor life and fight for the oppressed. Fight for those women in Muslim nations who have no say, no free rights, no freedom of religion, of the press, of assembly, of speech… no rights to pursue happiness as THEY see fit.

Truth. Justice. And the American Way. That is who we are. THAT is what we stand for. Wherever the oppressed may be.

Remembering 9/11 from President Barack Obama today:
“Eleven times we have paused in remembrance and reflection, in unity and in purpose. This is never an easy day, but it is especially difficult for all of you, the families of nearly 3,000 innocents who lost their lives.

But no matter how many years pass, no matter how many times we come together on this hallowed ground, know this: That you will never be alone, your loved ones will never be forgotten. They will endure in the hearts of our nation because through their sacrifice they helped us make the America we are today, an America that has emerged even stronger.”

From Israel In L.A. Facebook Post:
On this solemn day, our hearts and prayers go out to the victims of the 9/11 attacks and their grieving families. As the Israeli architect of the 9/11 memorial in NYC said about his creation, we now have a place to remember and reflect as a community. http://isra.li/remember

Remembering 9/11 from Sarah Palin:
“We remember that eleven years ago today nearly three thousand of our fellow Americans were killed by evil men. Every year on the anniversary of 9-11, we read out the names of those who died and comfort their families, and at military recruiting centers throughout the country, young men and women choose this day to enlist to serve their fellow Americans and ensure that something like this never happens again. While some try to move on with their lives and let the tragedy of that day recede in their memories, our men and women in uniform remain ever vigilant for us.

Ronald Reagen Tribute With Newt & Callista Gingrich RNC2012 Full Speech Video And Trailer

Newt & Callista Gingrich Ronald Reagen Tribute RNC2012 Speech Photo Pic

Newt & Callista Gingrich were onstage at the RNC2012 to talk of Ronald Reagen’s legacy.

Newt Gingrich & Callista Gingrich’s RNC2012 speech (full video below) was a Ronald Reagen tribute trailer that brought tears to my eyes, with a fantastic look at our President during the 80s (too young for me to remember).

Their duo speech itself was a bit tough to listen to as they went back and forth between each other (I always hate that), but either way it was a nice tribute to one of the greatest Republicans and Presidents of all time.

Newt Gingrich’s Final Presidential Candidate Speech. Drops Out of Race, Endorses Romney for President

Newt Gingrich Concession Speech May 2012

Newt Gingrich ends 2012 Republican Presidential Candidacy in this speech.

As many of you already know, Republican Presidential Candidate and “Last Conservative Standing” Newt Gingrich has officially bowed out of the tumultuous Republican race for the Republican Presidential Nomination of 2012.

Along with his departing of the race, he officially endorsed Mitt Romney for the Republican Nomination, and pledged to continue working hard and fighting hard for the Conservative and Christian ideals that made this country the great “shining city on a hill” that it is. As well as doing everything he can to elect Mitt Romney as President and secure Republican and Conservative members at all levels of government.

On the Romney issue, he talked about how he is often asked if “Mitt Romney is Conservative enough?” He went on to explain, “Compared to President Obama?!” and stated that the Conservativeness of Romney compared to Obama is WIDER than the gulf between Ronald Reagen and Jimmy Carter during the 1980s before Reagen was elected President in a landslide defeat for the religious Democrat.

As an active citizen, Newt will continue to work on the intellectually sound and challenging ideas that attracted me to his Presidency in the first place. To this day, I still believe that Newt Gringich was the right man we needed for the job… and I believe his losing of the race is a lose for the American people as a whole. For all of his flaws, the man had the big ideas and willingness to challenge and force REAL CHANGE that we needed in today’s stalled political system.

My only hope is that Newt Gingrich will be given a second chance and a real chance to affect real and sustainable change in a Romney Presidential cabinet, assuming Mitt Romney can defeat President Barack Obama in the November 2012 elections this year (which I am confident he will).

If so, I hope that Romney will consider Newt for a high and powerful position in his new cabinet. Can you imagine how much change we’d see if we had a Secretary of State Newt? Or if Newt was installed to lead this country to full production of domestic energy resources?

Here is Newt Gingrich’s final speech as a 2012 Republican for the Presidential Nomination.

If you have never listened to Newt before or even given the man the slightest of chances, I urge you to watch this video all the way through (just be warned that he gives tons and tons of thank you’s before diving into the substance of his speech). I hope that you will see the brilliance that this man brings and the ideas that we need to act on NOW if we are to save America. And I am confident that Mitt Romney will make the smart choice and adopt many of Newt’s ideas. As well as ones that were abandoned by President Obama, like the President’s own Debt Commission and its recommendations.

Among the many great ideas include a return to prominence in outer space exploration and research (his “moon colony” remark got him in trouble, but as he says, the point was real. And Google founders and billionaires are already drawing up plans to literally mine an asteroid…), fundamentally changing Social Security and economic reform to generate wealth (and give people new-found freedom), he speaks on the importance of regenerative medicine and brain research, the importance of hightech technology and accelerating research and development, reforming unemployment benefits to tie them to learning a trade, reforming how our schools work and how kids are educated and taught work ethics, reforming the way colleges work in America and fundamentally restoring the stalled government bureaucracy that saturates us, and a whole range of other issues.

Now the real work begins…

…… Some MAJOR players endorsed Newt Gingrich, people I respect a whole lot. Including Chuck Norris, Hermain Cain, Rick Perry, Fred Thompson, Michael Reagen, and J.C. Watts among others.

My Republican 2012 Presidential Candidate Political Quest (Button and Pin Collecting)

Historical US Presidential Pins

I would love to grow a collection like this of actual historical Presidential Pins or Buttons!

I’m a political junky, if you haven’t already figured that out. I generally follow what is going on in Politics on both the Left and the Right intently. I’m a hardcore Republican and Christian Conservative (or Evangelical as I’d be called) so obviously I am more intent on keeping up-to-date with Republicans and following the current Republican race than I am the other side, but even so I try to keep a wide eyed view. So I will gladly hunt down President Obama’s speeches, and I love watching all the speech’s and foreign meetings with dignarities that President Obama holds or Secretary of State Clinton gives.

Just like I did with President Bush and Secretary Rice. I still find these events to be fascinating, and I love to watch how President Obama interacts with foreign dignitaries.

So what’s the quest? Since the Republican Presidential Candidates Race for 2012 is over and Mitt Romney will be our nominee, I decided that I want to do something fun to remember the race. I want to track down Pins/Buttons, Tshirts, Bumper Stickers, Mugs and other memorabilia from all of the Republican Presidential Candidates! Especially while the race is still relatively fresh and these things shouldn’t be too hard to track down. I’ll definitely start with Newt Gringrich, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, President Obama/Biden and Mitt Romney in that order.

2012 Presidential Hopeful Buttons

Unfortunately I’m not working right now so it’ll have to wait, but hopefully I’ll still be able to purchase these items (or some of them) from the official websites or PACs of the candidates. In particular I was a huge fan of Herman Cain and he was my original Top Candidate for the Republican Nomination of 2012, so I really hope I can still get ahold of his memorabilia. Also Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry, whom I supported to a much lesser extent. And of course, I don’t wanna forget Gary Johnson! And Tim Pawlenty! And last BUT NOT LEAST, Jon Huntsmann. I was a big Huntsmann fan despite my Conservatism, I thought he would’ve made an outstanding President. I hope he’ll also be tapped for Mitt Romney’s cabinet.

I’ve actually thought it would be really fun to collect the buttons, pins, bumper stickers from Presidents of the past… and then not just the President’s themselves, but also the Presidential Candidates that ran during the elections against them. It’d be a great history lesson, since my interest in politics didn’t start until the Bush Administration. :P During the Clinton years I was too young in gradeschool and Junior High to give a damn (although I still remember this female History teacher of mine saying, “How dare a President wag his finger at the American people!” Course, I hardly knew/cared what she was talking about lol)… so I have LOTS of history to catch up on!

Obama vs McCain Pins

These are awesome pins! They may have been given out for the 3rd 2008 debate between John McCain & Barack Obama

Here’s a video showing some random Presidential pins. :)

Republican GOP Presidential Race: Rick Santorum Is Out, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul Remain

The 4 Towers - Newt, Mitt, Ron, Rick (GOP President 2012 Race)

4 Towering Giants: Republicans Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul. Only three ----now remain: Exit Santorum.

I thought I’d write a little something giving my thoughts on Rick Santorum’s exit from the Republican Presidential Race which is now ongoing with three candidates remaining: The clear frontrunner and assumed nominee, Mitt Romney, the self-proclaimed “Last Conservative Standing”, Newt Gingrich and the popular Libertarian “Ron Paul”.

To be quite honest, I’ve really, really tuned the race out since even a little before Rick Santorum dropped out of the race for the 2012 Republican Presidential Nomination. This isn’t something that I did purposefully per se, but having said that, I can’t say I really miss it. And it kinda pains me to say that, as I pride myself on being extremely aware of what is going on in the world of politics, as I see it as very important. And not just following your side, but I make it a habit to watch every major speech Barack Obama gives and that of his cabinet, and generally follow and listen to what the other side is doing as well as my own.

There is only so much a man can take though, and I think race fatigue has definitely settled in with the American people, on both sides of the aisle but much more so on the Republican side. I can only imagine what it must feel like for the candidates themselves.

Newt Gingrich - The Last Conservative Left Standing (GOP Presidential Race 2012)

Despite all the odds, Gingrich is still effectively in the race. Making him the last Conservative Left Standing ----in the eyes of those opposing Mitt & Paul.

Anyway, I wanted to discuss Rick Santorum for a bit. Whatever you think of the man and his positions on issues, you gotta admire and respect what Rick Santorum managed to accomplish. No one, and I mean NO ONE, thought that Rick Santorum would give Mitt Romney a serious run for his proverbial (actually literal) money. For my sake, I was sure that person would be Herman Cain. And if it wasn’t Herman Cain and even after it became obvious that it would be Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich was the one I continued to cheer on.

Although when it came time to vote in the Arizona Primary, I ended up choosing Rick Santorum over Gingrich, due to the fact that I was hoping he’d deliver a knockout punch to Mitt Romney. I ended up choosing that over a protest vote of sorts for Gingrich, who we knew would not win Arizona. Mitt Romney ended up carrying Arizona in the end however.

Rick Santorum and Family During Concession Speech

Rick Santorum officially exits the Republican 2012 Presidential Race.

Rick Santorum really threw a wrench into things though, and he did it with, as they say, OLD-FASHIONED POLITICS. This is a guy who was outspent 10 to 1 (in a matter of speaking) and yet still managed to take on the percieved front-runner and do major damage to him, while winning outright TEN STATES. How did he do it? He spoke the truth, he spoke with conviction, he maintained a positive image and a positive vision, and he WORKED HARD.

Republican Presidential Race 2012 Delegates (April)

Rick Santorum won 269 Delegates as of April 2012, compared to Romney's 697.

And I mean this guy WORKED WORKED WORKED. As such, he is the poster boy for solid proof that someone who gets out there and gets his hands dirty, visiting each and every county of a state one-by-one, visiting all of the hotspot restaurants and political meetings, going door-to-door, shaking hands, kissing babies, and putting himself out there, can still carry the day in the age of 24-hour media oversaturation and infinite resources set against you. It is DESPITE all of these facts that Rick Santorum was able to seriously challenge Mitt Romney, that makes Rick Santorum’s story such an inspiring one. It is bonafide proof that money, the media and the culture of today all heading in one direction, does not a winning candidate make.

Here is a video of Rick Santorum’s full interview on Piers Morgan before he exited the race.

Obama Extremely Likely to Lose 2012 Election, Based On Historical Polling

Obama Approval April 2012

President Obama's approval rating from Rasmussen polling for April 2012

So Dick Morris did a study where he went back and looked at every Presidential Election going back to the 1960s. He then looked at the data from the final Rasmussen poll conducted;

Which is one of the only trustworthy polls because it conducts it based on likely voters, and not just registered voters. Registered being a bad measurement. Case in point, my whole family is registered but I was the only one to vote in the primaries out of all six of them).

Reagen vs Carter Red America

In 1980 it was a Conservative landslide for Ronald Reagen against Jmmy Carter. Even though liberals stated otherwise leading up to the election against "the cowboy actor"

He found that, based on historical data, it is impossible for Obama to win the election. That’s because his poll numbers are hovering around 48% with the Republican challengers in the lower 40s or within margin of error of tying/winning (although, we still have a long way to go). In 80% of previous Presidential elections, the undecided voter goes with the challenger, not the incumbent.

Very interesting data. And of course, it is very likely that Obama will not get the same high amount of turnout amongst blacks or young voters that he did last time, no matter what he does. Simply because it is no longer a “historic, first black President” election.

Malia & Sasha Obama at Inauguration 2008

President Obama being sworn in with Sash & Malia to succeed President George W. Bush in 2008 at the US inauguration

Example, a recent article found that even among registered Democrats, most of them had to be practically bribed to get interested in politics or to even talk about Obama, and in most cases they didn’t really care.

They’d answer a question or to but then they’re off to do something else. In one case a lady who voted for Obama said maybe she would, but she is too busy trying to find a job. Another said they put 100% effort into the 2010 election and saw the Dems lose big, and that soured them on even caring about politics anymore.

But the real stinger was the fact that the majority said they were “unsure” if they would vote Obama. These being Obama voters last time around and registered Democrats. Like Dick Morris said, that’s like asking your wife if she’ll still be married next year. And she says “Ummm, maybe”. NOT a net positive by any stretch of the imagination!

Bully Petition And How to Save Our Schools (Sign to Reverse the Movie’s MPAA R Rating)

Bully 2012 Artwork

Post for the 2012 Documentary Bully. Time to Affect Change!

Bully is an upcoming documentary film that follows the real-life events of school children who have been bullied, with extra emphasis placed on how bullying can lead to teen-suicide.

If you enjoy this article please like it at the top of the website and share it on Facebook and Twitter, I’d greatly appreciate it! And leave a comment if you’re so inclined. :)

Which was the case for Tyler Long and Ty Smalley, two kids who will never get to see middle age because of the trauma and pressure bullying put on their young lives.

Sadly, this film, which was created to raise awareness to bullying and the effects that it has on both the bullied and the bully’s (who often grow up to be very troubled adults), will be nullified due to the actions of one entity (The MPAA). The movie was created to affect change, let’s hope this can still be accomplished (more below). The movie hits American theaters on March 9th, 2012; if they stick to the existing schedule. Definitely go see it and spread the word to help raise awareness of the film and its mission.

Please sign the Petition To Re-Rate the Bully Movie. The dreaded Motion Picture Association of America (the same people lobbying heavily for the SOPA/PIPA legistration, let’s not forget) who rates films gave it a final rating of R for language. Advocates for the film say that giving it an R-Rating is too harsh.

Update: It seems the old petition has either been taken down or has reached a threshhold of some kind and is no longer available. Here is the new Get Bully A PG-13 Rating Petition.

Update #2: The original petition is back up. Please sign both if you can.

Obviously, since these bully’s in the film are real (not actors) we are dealing with, harsh and crude language and cursing persist throughout the film. However people say an R-Rating hurts the advocacy of the film, and will result in less kids seeing the movie. And these schoolkids who are the ones being bullied and doing the bullying, are the ones whom the filmmakers intended to see the film in the first place.

Of course, who in their right mind thinks an R-Rating means kids will see it less? Everyone knows that kids watch R movies on a daily basis and are more likely to see it if it gets an R rating. Almost everyone has movie hopped at some point in their lives to see a film they weren’t supposed to see while it was in theaters. But that’s besides the point.

Giving it an R Rating also means it will be discouraged from being shown to young kids in gradeschool and middle school. When this film should be shown to ALL school kids.

Now let me talk about some of my own experiences and opinions on these issues. It is my opinion that Middle School is the WORST place that you can send kids. Particularly public Middle Schools. I remember kids peeing and defecating on the walls, in the sink, all over the floor of the bathroom on a daily basis. The bathroom was so disgusting you avoided it at all costs. That type of thing set the “tone” for what you could expect while going to school…

I too was bullied in several ways, always by Mexican kids (who tend to be the gang-type in these parts), and it was at its worst in Middle School. Read the rest of this entry »

Arizona and Michigan GOP Primary Vote Is Today! GO VOTE!

Arizona Michigan GOP Primary 2012

Today, February 28th, 2012, Arizona & Michigan Vote for their Presidential Candidate! Will Santorum or Romney Win?

If you are a registered Republican and live in Arizona or Michigan, then today is voting day for you! Got out and vote for who YOU want to be the Republican nominee to face President Barack Obama this November.

If you enjoy this article please like it at the top of the website and share it on Facebook and Twitter, I’d greatly appreciate it! And leave a comment if you’re so inclined. :)

You have four candidates to choose from: Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. Who will you be voting for?

Personally, I’m for Newt Gingrich and I still am pulling for Newt. However I will be voting for Rick Santorum in this primary of my home state. That’s because Newt will assuredly not win here in Arizona, so I’d rather give my vote to Rick so that he can deliver a knock-out punch to Romney if he wins here.

Romney vs Santorum

Who Wins Arizona & Michigan? Romney or Santorum?

While Newt is my guy, I love Santorum and I’d love to see him win the nomination. Having said that, I do like Romney as well and I’ll be supporting him hard if he wins the nomination. But he is my third choice after Newt and Santorum. Paul does not register on my radar, and if he won I’d have a hard time choosing who to vote for. Although I’m pretty sure I’d vote for Paul over President Obama, at the very least Paul would ensure that the dollar doesn’t crash and we’d turn things around fiscally.

Here’s just about the only “okay” video I could find on the bias-drenched youtube with Santorum vs Romney.
