In the last part of my first playthrough of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for GameCube, we finally reach the end, defeat the Master of the Game and final bosses, and unlock the Mercenaries Mode!

This is a great triumph after so many parts, four of them, of me playing through the game. It’s great to finally have an entire game recorded on audio. ENJOY! And please tune-in to my current ListenToMePlay Pocast series of Resident Evil: Code Veronica episodes.

Hopefully later on I will do a few more Podcasts for Resident Evil 3, playing through the game multiple times to unlock all of the Epilogues and Secret Outfits for Jill, while also playing through all of the Mercenaries Mode. Of course, I still have to play through all of Resident Evil 2′s Mercenaries Mode (called “Extreme Battle”), so I likely won’t get to doing all this for quite a while.

Given that I still need to tackle Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 once I beat Code Veronica, hopefully before Resident Evil 6 comes out on October 2nd!

The words you speak come straight from Hell. Your walls are weak and I can tell.

Christian Death Metal masterminds Impending Doom and their new music video Deciever is a doozy. This song comes from their newest album, “Baptized In Filth”.

Here is the music video for Impending Doom’s “Deceiver”.

This song is NOT for the feint of heart, those who cannot stomach disturbing scenes and Satanic imagery need not apply.

Regardless, this song is a heavy-hitter, and pulls no punches when explaining and showing what evil looks like, smells like, tastes like.

With hard-cutting lyrics like, “The words you speak come straight form HELL. Your walls are weak and we can tell” and “Dead bodies standing ten feet tall of the devils at your funeral.”

When lead singer Brook Reeves growls “Your words come straight from Hell”, the guy means it.

This song is an absolute powerhouse, and the music video should go a long way towards establishing Impending Doom as a true titan in the Death Metal scene with their gorship music (which they’ve been at consistently since 2007′s debut “Nailed. Dead. Risen”, Baptized in Filth being their 4th full-length album), yet blasting away the darkness with the Light of Truth in Christ wherever they walk, and doing it heavier than any secular band.

ListenToMePlayGames Resident Evil: Code Veronica Podcast Part 1 (Dreamcast Version)

ListenToMePlay Resident Evil: Code Veronica! In this podcast, I start my new episode series on the Dreamcast’s Code Veronica! In celebration of Resident Evil 6 releasing on October 2nd!

This game is the sequel to Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and is technically the fourth entry in the series. It was followed by Resident Evil Remake, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil: Revelations (3DS) and, soon, Resident Evil 6.

Code Veronica is preceded by Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 2 and the original Resident Evil ’96 (PS1, Saturn).

RE: Code Veronica was the first polygonal 3D entry in the series, abondoning the pre-rendered backgrounds and completely static viewpoints of previous games. This time the camera will move a bit as it follows Claire Redfield, the heroine from Resident Evil 2 who stars in this game (without Leon). The plot involves her search for her brother Chris Redfield from the first RE game.

This podcast marks the first time I have ever used my Sega Dreamcast! I actually had to open my system up, go inside, and fix the laser (by carefully turning a screw underneath where the laser reads your discs), thankfully that allowed the system to read games again, and allowed me to record this podcast!

I also own the PS2 version (called RE: Code Veronica X) although I sold it recently, but I’ll get it back eventually. Either way, I wanted to play the game in its original form. I also like the fact that the DC version is on two discs and not one like the PS2 version.

The World Should Unite To Publish A Picture of Muhammad A Day Until Muslims Learn To Deal With It

Should an art piece of Muhammad a day be published until Muslims get used to it?

Should Western media publish a cartoon of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad every single day for years and years until Muslims can no longer use it as an excuse to riot, burn and murder?

This was proposed by Daniel Pipes who is president of the Middle East Forum. And I believe this is a very good idea. To quote from the article,

“A Muhammad cartoon published each day, or Koranic desecrations on a quasi-regular basis, would make it harder for Islamists to mobilize Muslim mobs. Westerners could then once again treat Islam as they do other religions – freely, to criticize without fear.

That would demonstrate to Islamists that Westerners will not capitulate, that they reject Islamic law, that they are ready to stand up for their values.

So, this is my plea to all Western editors and producers: Display the Muhammad cartoon daily, until the Islamists become accustomed to the fact that we turn sacred cows into hamburger.”
