Here is WatchMePlay: Kid Icarus: Uprising Part 1:
Kid Icarus: Uprising was the long-awaited first modern-day release in the beloved Kid Icarus franchise, a videogame series that Nintendo hadn’t touched since the 1991 Game Boy sequel to the 1986 8bit NES original.
However main character Pitt caught a break when he appeared anew in Super Smash Bros. Brawl in 2008. Nintendo then had the developer of that game, Masahiro Sakurai, take the reigns on a bonafide new entry in the Kid Icarus series, and that’s what brought us Kid Icarus: Uprising!
This new game has all-new mechanics and introduces players to a fully voiced world, and a game that mixes shooting and on-foot battles with touch-screen or button-based controls. This is the first Nintendo title to be nearly fully voiced, which really makes it feel different compared to most of Nintendo’s games.
And the game has a really funny narrative style where Pit is continuously interacting with and talking to the Goddess Palutena as the player makes his way through the levels. She offers advice, ridicules him and jokes back and forth with some well-written, funny banter that really makes the game very lively.
