Chemicals by Love and Death Lyrics Included + Video Teaser (Brian Head Welch’s New Christian Metal Band)

Love & Death Band Members

The Love & Death Band Members with Brian "Head" Welch.

Love and Death’s Chemicals from the self-titled Chemicals EP is an awesome song created by Brian “Head” Welch fronted “Love & Death”, Brian’s new Christian metal band that seeks to continue what he’s done since leaving Korn in a new, more positive way. Be sure to buy the Chemicals EP from Love & Death On iTunes and support this band!

Now of course, that doesn’t mean that the music or the lyrics of the band are any less dark and gritty, they are as metal as ever and will rock your freakin’ socks off. The themes and lyrics are extremely powerful, dark, esoteric and obviously written by a man who lived the hell on earth life that drugs bring into the fold.

Jesus Tattoo Brian Head Welch Paralyzed Music Video

Jesus is engraved in Head's body and soul, as demonstrated by his tattoo.

Brian was a meth addict for most of his life, thankfully he found Christ and left the influences that drove him there, including his former band Korn, where he served as the guitarist and strong backbone of the band. If you haven’t read his book, do so, you can buy Save Me From Myself by Brian Head Welch on Amazon. It’ll change your life.

Thankfully, that crunching evil sound that Korn was well-known for is alive and well here, thanks to Head’s contribution. Right now only the “Chemicals EP” exists, but the band is gearing up for a full album later this year.

Check out “Chemicals” by Love & Death.

Chemicals Song Lyrics By Love & Death From Brian “Head” Welch:

LIES
That
You. Sell.
They OFFEND.
ME.
You’re the KILLER
And the KISSER
TRY
To not tell…
All my SEC-RETS…

Stop the pressure.
Hear the whisper.

Watching myself fade away….
How long will I live SO broken?
A fallen friend, no FAM-ILY…
How long will I….
k-k-k-k-KEEP FAILING?

Can you tell that I hurt?
IT’S CRITICAL
All I can smell is the burn
Of CHEMICALS
And slowly losing to temptation…
Let me go, let me fight
Chemicals in my MIND….

REGRET
As I fall….
For that sweet BURN
You’re the KILLER
And the KISSER
Inject… as I crawl
To my MAS-TER
Stop the pressure.
Hear the whisper.

Watching myself fade away….
How long will I live SO broken?
A fallen friend, no FAM-ILY…
How long will I….
k-k-k-k-KEEP FAILING?

Can you tell that I hurt?
IT’S CRITICAL
All I can smell is the burn
Of CHEMICALS
And slowly losing to temptation…
Let me go, let me fight
Chemicals in my MIND….

TIME
MISSED.
I guess I never contemplated… all the time that I have missed….
TIME
STRESS.
I guess I never contemplated all the time wasted in stress.
TIME!
MISSED!
I GUESS I NEVER CONTEMPLATED ALL OF IT
TIME!
STRESS!
I GUESS I NEVER CONTEMPLATED all of it….

Can you tell that I hurt?
IT’S CRITICAL
All I can smell is the burn
Of CHEMICALS
And slowly losing to temptation…
Let me go, let me fight
Chemicals in my MIND….

I’m not a criminal.
I hate the chemicals.
I’m not a criminal.
I hate the chemicals.

I’M NOT A !
CRIMINAL!
I HATE THE !
CHEMICALS!
I’M NOT A !
CRIMINAL!
I HATE THE CHEMICALS!

——————

Now that you’ve taken your jaw up off the floor, check out this “teaser” of the Chemicals music video! The whole Chemicals music video will be released on May 7th!

Be sure to buy Save Me From Myself (the album by Brian Head Welch) and purchase Brian’s single “Paralyzed“, which is also featured on the EP. You can buy the Chemicals EP by Love & Death On Amazon too.

Zwei Videogame Announced. New Horror Title From Resident Evil Creator Shinji Mikami

Zwei videogame screenshots

Horror videogame "Zwei" is next up on Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami's plate.

From Resident Evil to Zwei! Videogame “Zwei” has been announced for unspecified platforms as the newest game from Resident Evil creator and mastermind Shinji Mikami. The game is developed by Mikami’s new studio, “Tango Gameworks”, and will be a survival horror title. Hey, stick to what you know best right?

Oh and “Zwei” is a codename and working title, so the name of the game could change.

Mikami himself will be fully involved in the game’s development and is serving as Executive Director. The reason for choosing survival horror was in order to stay inline with what gamers expect from a Mikami-developed game, so says the man himself.

Zwei has actually been in the works for a while, as the game’s basic settings and storyline, exposition, groundwork, etc. was layed as far back as 2010. The name “Zwei” comes from the German language, where it means “two”. What that has to do with the game is anyone’s guess at this point, Mikami said it wasn’t necessarily a hint as to what the game would entail… although it must have some significance.

The game will most likely be released sometime in 2013, platforms have yet to be announced. But you can probably expect Xbox 360, PS3 and whatever else, Wii U possibly or other platforms like PC, Mac, or PS Vita. And/or PS4 (codenamed “Orbus”) and Xbox 720 (codenamed “Durango”) which may be out by the time this game hits.

Mikami himself is most famous for Resident Evil, but he also created the Devil May Cry franchise, and worked on Vanquish and Shadows of the Damned more recently, neither of which was a big hit.

You can see the game’s first screenshots above… although these are “target” screenshots only representative of the feel and tone that Mikami is expecting to be seen in the game.

Here is a video of Shadows of the Damned, a third-person action horror game released on Xbox 360 and PS3 last June 2011. It was co-developed by Suda 51 and Grasshopper. It’s a Mature videogame so expect scantily clad women and lots of cursing and killing from the trailer.

And here is a trailer of Vanquish, a sci-fi third-person shooter released in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PS3 to much critical acclaim, but poor sales. Sega published and Platinum Games developed.

Marvel Daredevil Film Reboot (2013?) In the Works. Movie Gets Scriptwriter David Slade Fox Announces

Daredevil Wallpaper Is Badass!

Some absolutely kickass Daredevil wallpaper! Hopefully the Daredevil film reboot looks like this!

A Daredevil 2013 film reboot? 2003′s Daredevil movie starring Ben Affleck was highly panned by critics and fans alike, but fans may soon be relieved of their suffering… A new Daredevil reboot of the film franchise is currently in the works!

Whether you like it… or not! Oh and 2013 is a speculative date by me. :D Personally I’m a “like it”, as I enjoyed the original film despite how they butchered the comic and animated character I knew… and I’m sorry but you can’t make “The Kingpin” black. Switching a character’s race from their original incarnation (read: Nick Fury of SHIELD as seen in The Avengers… *sigh*) should be an absolutely NO GO.

Although despite that fact, I thought the black Kingpin played by Michael Clarke Duncan was an outstanding portrayal of the character and, taking it for what it was, I thought the Ben Affleck Daredevil movie was a fine and entertaining film. I also thought that Ben Affleck, Michael Duncan, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, and everyone else in the movie did an excellent job with their roles. I enjoyed the film… I still need to get that Director’s Cut version and watch it…

2003 Daredevil vs Elektra Movie Screenshot

Ben Afleck's Daredevil fighting Jennifer Garner's Elektra from the 2003 film. I liked the movie.

Anyhoo, back to the Daredevil reboot! Fox owns the rights to the Daredevil film franchise (well, it only saw one movie after the original 2003 version “flopped”, although a much-improved Director’s Cut version with over half an hour of deleted scenes was released on home video) and has put David Slade on writing duties to pen the script for the upcoming reboot. Fox is hoping that they will be able to maintain the Daredevil license, as well as the Fantastic Four license they hold. Since, you know, they are still money-printing machines.

This news follows in the wake of Hollywood’s recent love of rebooting film franchises (something I wholeheartedly embrace), which was started by the reboot of The Incredible Hulk with the self-titled movie released in 2008 to much critical acclaim and commercial success after the original Ang Lee-directed “Hulk” (2003) was seen as a flop (I loved that movie as well). The new version, “The Incredible Hulk” had nothing to do with the original “Hulk” and went in a completely new direction with new actors, directors, producers, etc. I highly enjoyed the Hulk reboot as well. Song Video of the Day: KJ-52 They Like Me Music Video Featuring LeCrae

LeCrae They Like Me KJ-52 Music Video

LeCrae rapping his part in KJ-52's They Like Me music video from the Dangerous Album.

They Like Me by KJ-52 featuring LeCrae (live and in-person) is the first music video from KJ-52′s Dangerous album, his latest and 7th full-length that was just recently released on April 6th. If you haven’t yet, be sure to buy Dangerous by KJ-52 and support this awesome Christian rapper and his incredible work ethic. Personally I gave the album 9 out of 10 and love it!

Here is the music video for They Like Me!

Be sure to check out my exclusive KJ-52 interview!

They Like Me was a natural fit for the first music video from Dangerous, as it takes advantage of the fact that LeCrae (of the 116 Clique) has blown up in popularity following his performance on the BET Cipher and his securing a spot on a popular upcoming rapper’s album that also features big-time artists of the Snoop Dog, Eminem, 50 Cent, Jay-Z caliber. A HUGE deal for any Christian rapper.

And the They Like Me music video is a really cool one. The story of the song is about racism, from both the white end and the black end! Which is something that is rarely seen. So you have LeCrae rapping about what it was like to grow up as a black kid and a black rapper embraced by whites, and KJ-52 growing up as a white rapper in a black neighborhood and black-dominated industry. The music video cuts to rapid shots of average, everyday people of both skin tones, and has outstanding production quality.

Last but not least, here is the BEC video of LeCrae at the Cipher, in case you haven’t seen it.

Here is a short interview with LeCrae talking about the BET Cipher.

Angry Birds Theme Parks Coming Soon? Angry Birds: Space NASA Announcement Trailer (First Videogame Announced From Space!)

Angry Birds Playground

Play on an Angry Birds themepark soon!

Angry Birds is a bonafide cashcow of uber-epic proportions, and the mobile franchise that started on iTunes has morphed into a behemoth that will consume your soul in all manner of ways and forms.

Contributing to that will be the possibility of Angry Birds Theme Parks or Angry Birds rides coming to a theme park near you! Although, they may be a ways off for big territories like the USA and Europe.

But Finland? They’re up first!

Rovio, maker of Angry Birds, has announced that the Finnish theme park Sarkanniemi has inked a deal with them that will section off a part of the themepark into “Angry Birds Land”. This area of the theme park will be themed around the Angry Birds characters and will feature traditional amusement park rides themed with the look and style of the videogames. These include the “Red Bird” spinning flyer ride, a multilevel Angry Birds themed playground for kids (complete with Climbing Walls made to look like the Pigs’ fortresses, tube-slides included) and a “Pig Shooting” shot gallery where kids use real-life slingshots to shoot the evil Pigs. People won’t actually get to become living Angry Birds though and be slingshotted around the park themselves… much to our dismay.

Coming soon may be the United Kingdom, followed by China and the United States, and then, one imagines, the entire world. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the White House erected an Angry Birds statue to honor the franchise and the likely-nearing billion dollars it has pumped into President Barack Obama’s economy since it’s debut in 2009.

Angry Birds went on to become one of the biggest selling, fastest growing game franchises of all time after it humbly hit the iTunes store and blew up, topping the $70 million dollars mark easily, which was 600 times the cost of the original game’s development! And each subsequent game has topped all the charts and remained there for months on end. And the franchise shows no signs of slowing down in the slightest. The latest game is Angry Birds Space, which was released for iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad), mobile (Windows Phone, Android), PC and Mac on March 22nd, 2012. Angry Birds: Space became the FIRST EVER videogame announcement FROM SPACE! We are not kidding, Rovio teamed up with NASA and had NASA astronaut Don Pettit announce the game while aboard the International Space Station!

As you can see in this awesome trailer, which also showed the first gameplay footage of Angry Birds: Space, the first true sequel to the original Angry Birds game from 2009.

The original Angry Birds debut in December 2009 was followed by Angry Birds Seasons (a series of holiday-themed expansions) soon after. The first “Seasons” update was Angry Birds Halloween in October of 2010. That was followed by Angry Birds Christmas in December of 2010 (entitled simply “Angry Birds Seasons”). Further expansions included Angry Birds Valentine’s Day (February 2011, entitled “Hogs & Kisses”), Angry Birds St. Patrick’s Day (March 2011, entitled “Go Green, Get Lucky”), Angry Birds Easter (April 2011, entitled “Easter Eggs”), Angry Birds: Summer (June 2011, entitled “Summer Pignic”), Angry Birds Autumn (September 2011, entitled “Mooncake Festival”), Angry Birds Halloween 2 (October 2011, entitled “Ham’O'Ween), Angry Birds Christmas 2 (December 2011, entitled “Wreck the Halls”), Angry Birds New Year (January 2012, entitled “Year of the Dragon”) and Angry Birds Japan (March 2012, entitled “Cherry Blossom”). Angry Birds Rio, based on the hit animated film, was also released in March of 2011.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Cancelled as Developer GSC Game World Closes. Vostok Games Formed in Wake, Announces Survarium MMOFPS

Stalker 2 Beautiful Art

Beautiful concept artwork for the cancelled S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 for PC by GSC Game World.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 looks like it will never see the light of day, as the game has been cancelled and the company that made it, Ukrainian-based GSC Game World, has been shutdown. This will definitely come as heartbreaking news to fans of the PC first-person horror series.

The series started out with the original game, entitled S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in 2007. That was followed by a prequel known as “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky” (2008) and a sequel known as S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat (2010).

Although this sounds like the worst news possible, it is not ALL bad news, as developers from GSC Game World left and formed a new company called “Vostok Games”, and they are already at work on their first game known as “Survarium”, a free-to-play massively multiplayer online first-person shooter.

Stalker 2 Gameplay Screenshot

This is what S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 would've looked like gameplay-wise.

Apparently, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 reached its sad fate after the studio and its investors were not able to reach an agreement with the company that owns the rights to S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and this followed months of developers working on the game without pay, as they sought new investors. Apparently those investors were never found either… how much of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 they finished isn’t known, but one wonders what would happen if they were to start a Kickstarter project or try to raise funds online in a different crowdsourcing manner… Surely there are plenty of people out there that’d give big bucks to see the game finished and release.

As for Survarium, the game centers on a near-future earth where a “mass-scale ecological catastrophe” has left the planet ravaged and in-ruins. The game is being built using their proprietary Vostok engine and will be released for PC towards the end of 2013.

Survarium MMOFPS Videogame Artwork by Vostok Games

First look at this survival free-to-play MMOFPS called "Survarium" from Vostok Games.

This is sad news as the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games had a huge cult-following and were critically acclaimed. I’m proud to own all three of them, which I bought in a Steam sale, and I hope I’ll get around to playing them one of these days.

Here is a developer diary from Vostok Games where they discuss the closure of their old studio and how they are moving on to a new one, and hope to keep doing what they’ve been doing. Creating excellent games!

The Dark Knight Rises Theater Release Date is July 20, 2012. Final Christopher Nolan Batman Film. Last Trailer Before Debut

The Dark Knight Rises The Legend Ends Poster (Official artwork)

The millennial Batman saga comes to a close in The Dark Knight Rises on July 20, 2012

The Dark Knight rises hits theaters on July 20th, 2012 and is sure to be one of the biggest films of ALL TIME.

The film marks the third and FINAL entry in Christopher Nolan’s critically acclaimed, record-breaking, billion-dollar-earning Batman film franchise reboot following The Dark Knight (2008) and Batman Begins (2005). And is sure to be a fitting end to what amounts as one of the finest film-entry superhero franchises of all time and one of the greatest comebacks of all time following the 90s Batman series and its ever downward spiral.

Of course, the Batman series needs no introduction, as virtually everyone and their mother, father, grandmother, grandfather and little baby Jake have seen The Dark Knight and are well-familiar with the late-great, Heath Ledger and his memorizing portrayal of Batman’s key villain, The Joker (a role that would be one of his last before his untimely drug overdose). Ledger died during the editing of the film and it stands as his penultimate hallmark.

(Although Heath Ledger’s final film would be “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”, a film he did not complete as his passing came during the filming of it, and he was only a third of the way through his role. As such, actors Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell stepped in and performed transformations of Ledger’s character as he travels through a dream world in the film.)

Because of Heath Ledger’s death (or despite of it), The Dark Knight became infamous and the film opened to the biggest haul in box office history, slashing records and setting new benchmarks for both superhero films and films in general. It is the eleventh highest-grossing film of all time and went on to gross over a billion dollars, grossing theater sales in total of $1,001,921,825 (that’s billions). It is the third highest grossing movie of all time in the United States, behind only Titanic and James Cameron’s Avatar. The Dark Knight was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won for Best Sound Editing and Best Supporting Actor for Heath Ledger’s performance of The Joker, the first posthumous award given since since Peter Finch in 1976.

Can The Dark Knight Rises top that? We’ll find out soon… Here is the last and final trailer for The Dark Knight rises. (which I won’t watch… I refuse to see any trailers and I know virtually nothing about the film. So I’ll be going into it with completely fresh eyes! :D)
